Snowshoe Romps
How about a lovely snowshoe romp amid the snow-capped trees? There are a few easy beginner trails on Côte-de-Beaupré.
The rang Saint-Julien Sector is not only a cross-country ski and fatbike destination, it’s also great for snowshoeing. Between the short 1.8 km loop and the 5 km Ruisseau Rouge trail, there’s plenty of room to stretch your legs and put a dab of colour on your cheeks!
Le Sentier des Caps de Charlevoix and la Réserve nationale de faune du Cap-Tourmente also offer a range of shorter options.

Robert Giguère Centre: Your Multi-Activity Destination
Located in Beaupré, the centre is a well-kept secret among locals! At Centre Robert Giguère you will find beginner and intermediate snowshoe and x-country ski trails meandering alongside the beautiful Sainte-Anne River. Equipment renatls on-site asnd free for kids age 14 and under. Perfect for the whole family! Do note that a skating rink and slide are also available.

Let’s Go Ice Skating!
Côte-de-Beaupré’s many rinks are expecting you! Among our favourites: Patinoire du Lac du Faubourg in Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, a natural frozen lake with a superb view as well as the Domaine du Boisé de Boischatel sector with a frozen trail, a covered hockey rink right next to a slide, a snowshoe and x-country ski trails. All are free of charge − so enjoy!

Ice Canyoning
For the thrill-seeker in you, Canyoning-Québec takes you out on a guided vertical descent down icy Chute Jean-Larose waterfall, with crampons. No experience required, simply proper winter attire and a dash of courage! Ready to discover a frozen magical winter wonderland on mythical Chute Jean-Larose?

Parc de la Chute-Montmorency
Only 15 minutes from Old Québec, Parc de la Chute-Montmorency is a spectacular history-filled visitor site. Not only can you snowshoe or walk along the riverside and cross the suspended bridge, you can also approach the 83-foot high waterfall and feel nature’s force. And add a gondola ride to cap off your visit!

Cross-Country Ski Centre
A top cross-country ski playground is right here, in our region. With a 184 km trail network of which 176 km are dedicated to skate skiing, Centre de ski de fond Mont-Sainte-Anne on rang Saint-Julien is a pleasure for expert and amateur skiers alike, guaranteeing grandiose winter scenery. A splendid activity for enjoying winter while practising a sport that’s great for your health!
Spa-a-a-h Time!
After all these activities, how about resting your muscles? Treat yourself to a thermal experience at Villéa Nature & Nordique Spa or Spa des Neiges. Some time slots allow children age 5 and up. Let’s bet this soothing visit will calm the ardors of both tall and small.
