Each spring, thousands of snow geese stop to rest and feed in the marshes of the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area. Starting in late April, this spectacular natural show is a must-see for families spending the Easter weekend in the region.
The La Cime trail is a beautiful option to admire the geese and enjoy the view. Plan for about 4.5 hours round trip—it’s well worth the effort. Shorter trails are also available on-site for an easier outing.
What if Easter also became a time to recharge? On the Côte-de-Beaupré, two must-visit spas invite you to relax—whether you’re a couple or a family.
At Versant Mont-Sainte-Anne, enjoy their special Easter Family Spa experience, offered Sunday, April 20 and Monday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cozy bathrobes, access to baths (ages 8+), and a hot chocolate to top off the experience—it’s the perfect way to unwind together.
Rates: $18 per child / $35 per adult (plus taxes)
Just a few minutes away, Spa des Neiges welcomes you in a magical setting on the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Outdoor baths, sauna, hammam and a peaceful relaxation yurt await you for a tranquil break in nature.

Spring is the best time to admire the immense force of water at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency! When the snow melts, the water flow is truly impressive. At its peak, the Montmorency River flows more than 125,000 liters per second. Crossing the suspension bridge at this time of year is certainly a thrill! You can feel the waterfall rumbling beneath your feet like never before.
After enjoying the view of the river and Île d’Orléans, take the Résurgences trail, which follows the river upstream from the waterfall. The forest is magnificent!
Pssst! Did you know that Montmorency Falls is 30 metres higher than the famous Niagara Falls? Impressive!
